Committee Meeting 6th October

Committee meeting at Meadowglen International Stadium - club rooms all new & returning memebers welcome.
This our last meeting before season official starts.
It would be fantastic if everyone on the committee could make this meeting as we have a few things for discussion prior to Start of Season.
Also if you have any ideas for Christmas or AGM please put them forward in writing with all information (prices, place etc) to the committee to discussion. Also fundraising ideas would be great we need to put something together.

Personalised Training T-shirts

Dear Epping Little-Athletics families and friends

As you may or may not know Epping is offering personalised training tops as our registration gift to your little athlete.

There will be only 3 occassions that you will be able to place your order.

Thursday 10th from 5:30 - 6:30 (training)
Saturday 12th from 10:00 - 1:00 (Registration day)
Thursday 17th from 5:30 - 6:30 (training)


To be able to place your order for your personlised training shirt you need to register online and bring you payment receipt to one of the 3 times above.


If you are not able to register before these dates we will accept a $50 deposit per shirt which will be refunded once you show your registration payment receipt.


If you change your mind and decide not to join no refund will be given and you will still get your training shirt as it is personalised and can not be used by anyone else.


We hope to see you all at the track to place your orders.

Dear Epping Families
The season it about to start. Remember when you register your child/children you are also making a commitment to help.
We as club do find it difficult to find enough people for a rotation of jobs to occur on a regular basis.
A big change this year will be a sign in sheet for parents/guardians to sign.
If you don't want to sign in or help, your child will not receive points. There will be no recognition of any achievements on the day you don't sign in. If you can not help on your rostered occasion we need you to communicate to us via email at least 24 hours prior to competition otherwise we will do the same as when not signing in.  
We just don't have enough depth in the club to cover everyone.
One in all in.
This year we are doing the roster a little differently.
First we are going to give you the opportunity to select which weeks and which events that you would like to help at.
If there are any spots that have not been filled and you have not already volunteered then we will be putting you on the roster.
Until we know how many families we have we are going to ask that you help at least 9 times throughout the entire season.
If this minimum requirement does not cover the season we will be asking for your help again but only when all families have met the minimum requirement.
Please note that to be a Chief you will require a current Working with Children Card that is registered with Whittlesea City Little Athletics Club.
To spread this responsibility around it would be ideal to have at least 9 Chiefs.
It is not difficult but we do need Parents to put their hand up to learn how to Chief the events.
We will be organising a couple of sessions with the Centre Chief of Officials for people that want to learn about the events. Please email Heidi if you are interested. heidijcolson@gmail.com
Below you will see the table of each week's competition; please click on the link to choose the event that you would like to help out on that day. You can choose to do more than one but I suggest if you do that you choose the same event for the day to be sure that the events do not clash.
